Please welcome the following new faculty to DAC:


Obi Offorjebe will be teaching Monday Hip Hop class at 7:30 p.m..

He will be teaching an urban master class in the future more details to follow.

From all the Nigerian family parties and social gathering growing up, one could say Obi has been dancing all his life and aspiring bboy at 13, Obi’s excitement for dance carried him through college as a science major; joining a competitive dance team at UC Merced in 2012. In 2013, he founded Division Workshops, a 10-week summer dance camp. He directed an urban dance team in 2015. Obi teaches around the Bay Area participating in various performances, projects, and community events while holding a career in data science.

Never shying away from various disciplines like modern, tumbling salsa, lindy hop, locking and popping, he seeks diverse energy to open his mind to new concepts and movements.

Office hours: 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Lost and Found items

If you left any items or clothing at the studio, please check the lost and found bin in the girls dressing room or have one of your female classmates bring the bin out so that you can search for your missing item. Please do so before December 1st. After December 1st, the items in the bin will be donated to Goodwill.

Tap Workshop

Amanda Farbstein will be offering a tap workshop on the following Tuesday nights:  Feb 13, 20, 27 and March 6th from 7:15 -7:45 p.m.  The cost of the class is $70 for all 4 classes.  She will be teaching warm-ups and exercises covering standard taps steps and sequences.  It's a great class for those who want to join Amanda's Monday intermediate/advance tap class.

Makeups cannot be used for taking the class sessions.  If you plan to take singles, please speak to Amanda before taking the class.  Thank you.

Master Classes by ZiRu Dance

On the 2nd Sunday of every month from 11am-1pm, ZiRu Dance will be teaching an open level modern dance class.

PRICE:  $30 for 1 drop-in class

            $200 for all 8 (you must pre-register online by Oct 8 at www.zirudance.com)
